Before you begin and diet plan or a fitness program, you must remember that today pharmaceutical industry is a multi billion dollar industry and the information that comes to you is always biased by the economic factor. Another factor which inflences your life style is the agricultural sector which also is dominated by  economic criterion. Recently, I visited a few Asian countries where corn dishes have become very popular in upmarket malls. Now these upmarket malls are too influenced by American culture and USA is producing abundance of corn and hence they need a market for it. Now, corn which is too bad for your fitness, is being bombarded in Asian market in all possible forms. Do I need to further elaborate on that? It is obvious that what you consume is decided by what generates money.


A few decades back, condition was different. Everybody kew what is bad and what is good because the industry was not diciding what is good or what is bad. Research and development was not a part of industry in a way as it is today. There was an element of  ethics among our scintists which is missing today. Scientists are manipulating the facts to satisfy their needs and the needs of their bosses who are investing in the business. So it is solely up to you to decide what is good for you and what is bad for you. Everybody is not an expert in the field of nutrition or food technology. Hence we need an experts opinion about what food is good for us and what food is bad for us.

Samething goes with the type of exercise that is suitable for our body. Today, somehow most of us have become a part of that madness where slogans like “Lose your weight in 30 days” become any eye catching phrases. Being fit means being happy. If you are punishing your body in all possible ways to somehow lose weight, that is not called body fitness. Hence we need a proper trainer for us who should be able to advise us “what type of exercise is good for us”.
